FROM YOUR INTERIM PASTOR On the last Sunday of 2009 (December 27) I asked for prayer for a time of transition with respect to the music leadership. The Personnel Team along with advice from those in the music program are seeking to provide for this important aspect of the congregation’s ministry. Along with prayer I also asked for patience as this is a difficult process. I am also praying that 2010 will be a very good year for the congregation. Beginning steps are being made for the pastor search committee. And that process will fully develop over the next few months. Victory is a good congregation with friendly and very talented individuals who share with one another on their faith journey. You have a great future before you. The Christmas Eve service was a great experience with a good attendance. I was blessed to have my family and my daughter-in-law’s family with us . However my three year old granddaughter who had been “coached” on how to act after the service informed me I had been talking. In addition she complained she didn’t get any “juice” when it was distributed. Some day she will figure it all out and that includes why I was “talking.” I look forward to sharing worship and fellowship with you. Crossings Camps for Kids is for elementary children, with the same great activities from older camps, just remixed with kids in mind! Crossings is located in Bagdad, Kentucky and is on the Cedarmore property. Check their website for all the fun and exciting information about camp! Happy New Year!! The fall semester of 2009 was full of exciting events and growth. The student ministry not only increased in average attendance, but more importantly, through Sunday night Bible study and Sunday morning Life groups, students have built relationships with their leaders and grown in their faith in Christ. If the previous year is any foreshadowing of things to come, the students at Victory are going to do great things for the gospel and God’s Kingdom here on earth.	Sign-ups for summer camp will take place following worship on January 10th in the student minister’s office. In order to reserve a spot for camp, students must put down a $50 deposit. Students will leave for camp on the afternoon of July 11th and return home on July 17th. Current cost of camp is $325, which includes:
	Transportation Hotel stays on the way to & from camp Lodging while at camp 10 meals 8 sessions 1 camp book 1 track bag … and the most fun you will ever have!
