The Music and Worship Ministry exists to identify, train, and deploy worship team members who will humbly and skillfully serve God’s purposes for and through the church.
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir provides special music in our Sunday morning worship services (9:00 & 10:30). It is open to adults college age and older (youth by interview only). The choir rehearses Sunday evenings at 4:00 pm, in rooms 7 and 9.
Worship Orchestra
The Worship Orchestra leads in worship during several Sunday morning services throughout the year. The group performs solo, ensemble and full orchestra selections during regularly scheduled special events. This auditioned group is
open to adults (high school age and older). The orchestra rehearses the week scheduled to play on Wednesday evenings at 8:15 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:15 am in the sanctuary.
Worship Team
The Worship Team leads in worship during our weekly worship services. This auditioned group of servants sacrifices time and talent to model worship for our
congregation. The worship team meets for rehearsal on Wednesday nights at 8:15 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:15 am.
Worship Band
The Worship Band leads in worship during all of our Sunday morning services. This auditioned group consists of a rhythm section (piano, guitar, bass, and drums) and featured orchestral instruments. The worship band meets for rehearsal on Wednesday nights at 8:15 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:15 am.
Children's Choir
In September the Children’s Choir will begin work on the Christmas musical that will be presented in December. The children will also work on individual music to be presented occasionally on Sunday morning. The choir is led by Debbie Steiner, Paula Norris, and Glenetta Warren.
Handbells
Victory has two handbell choirs which provide special music for Christmas, Easter, and occasional corporate worship services. The Blue Handbell Group is led by Rich Cowan. The White Handbell Group is led by Andrea Peach and Belinda Morgan. The handbell choirs rehearse Sunday afternoons.
